Supply of natural gas

Since October 31, 1861 we have been supplying the town of Constance with gas. This gas was initially produced from coal, then from liquid materials such as butane. In 1979, the Town of Constance joined the European natural gas grid.

Our supply area includes the Town of Constance and its suburbs Dettingen, Wallhausen, Dingelsdorf, Oberdorf and Litzelstetten, the Island of Mainau and the Swiss lower-lake communities Tägerwilen, Gottlieben, Triboltingen, Ermatingen, Mannenbach/Salenstein, Berlingen, Steckborn, Glarisegg, Mammern, Eschenz, Stein am Rhein, Wagenhausen and Öhningen at Höri.

Since January 1 2008, we have been offering our special rate “Erdgas” (“Natural Gas”) all over Baden Wuerttemberg. If you would like an offer, please contact us.

The town of Kreuzlingen supplies its households and the Gasverbund Oberthurgau-See (GOS) with our natural gas.

We procure our natural gas to 100% from the GVO (Gashandelsgesellschaft mbH), a customer of (Gasversorgung Süddeutschland). To secure supply during the high energy demand in winter, we have our own mixing plant for liquid gas with which we can produce our own quality gas for our supply network should this be necessary.
